After 27 years travelling abroad with the Royal Australian Navy, I settled down in Canberra to relax in the city of intellectuals. I found that I was 'different' from the locals and decided to show off my talents; 10 minutes later (when I had run out of personal inspiration) I received the call to help with a local production as an actor and loved every minute of it. Since that initial call I have performed both in the ACT and interstate, receiving a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Festival of One Act Plays. During this time I then stumbled into the technical side of theatre and found I enjoyed that (almost) as much. I have designed, operated and assisted with productions at Tuggeranong Arts and The Street and even run a few karaoke gigs as well.
